Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has revealed that technical midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has returned to training with his teammates.
Mac Allister was named in the starting line-up for Argentina’s 3-0 win over Chile on Friday. Before being substituted in the 80th minute with a thigh injury. It has
since been confirmed that the 25-year-old has a thigh injury. And that Argentina will take special care of him until the next game.
“The team is fine, recovering from the game the other day, with some typical ailments,” Scaloni said. “Nico [Gonzalez] trained separately and Alexis with the rest of the group.”
There has not been any final decision on Mac Allister’s involvement against Colombia, however.
“We will see how they have evolved over the next two days to decide how we are going to play,” Scaloni added.

“The team is okay, they have recovered from the game the other day. Some people have fever,” Scaloni said ahead of Tuesday’s game against Colombia.

“We will see how they develop in the last two days to decide how we will play.”
